Jamaican Jerk Pork Roast

THIS PROTEIN-RICH DISH is simple, tasty, and incredibly healthy. 

Serves: 12  - Time: 1 hour 10 minutes - Calories: 282  - Fat:  20g  - Protein: 23g  - Net carbs: 0g 


  • A ¼ cup of Jamaican Jerk spice blend 
  • A ½ cup of beef stock or broth 
  • 1 tbsp. of olive oil 
  • 4 lb. pork shoulder 


1.Place the pork on a flat surface. 

2.Cover the pork with oil and rub this with the blend of spice. 

3.Set your Instant Pot on sauté mode. 

4.Put the pork into the pot and turn often to brown all the sides. 

5.Throw in the broth and use the lid to cover the pot. 

6.Set on Manual and cook for 45 minutes on high pressure. 

7.Naturally release the pressure then take off the lid. 

8.Take the pork out of the pot and place it on a plate before shredding it with 2 forks. 

9.Set the Instant Pot on sauté mode and reduce the sauce for about 5 minutes. 

10.Put the meat back into the pot and stir to mix properly.
