Greek Meatballs



THESE EPIC MEATBALLS with the dried oregano, onions, herbs, and mushrooms are tasty and awesome.

 Serves: 4 - Time: 50 minutes - Calories: 356 - Fat:  65g - Protein: 52g -  Net carbs: 8g 

Ingredients: 

  • A ¼ cup of fresh parsley 
  • ½ sliced red onion 
  • A ½ cup of almond flour 
  • ½ tsp. of ground pepper 
  • 1 tsp. of sea salt 
  • 1 lb. of ground pork 
  • 1 lb. of ground lamb 
  • 1 cup of mushrooms 
  • 1 tsp. of dried oregano 
  • 2 chopped cloves of garlic 
  • 6-8 fresh mint leaves


 For the Tzatziki sauce:  
  • ¼ tsp. of pepper 
  • ½ tsp. of salt
  •  A ½ cup of fresh dill 
  • ½ peeled and roughly chopped English cucumber 
  • 1 cup of coconut yogurt
  •  2 cloves of garlic, peeled 
  • Juice of a ½ lemon

  Method:  

1.Get the food processor and throw in the onion, garlic, mint, mushrooms, and parsley then allow it process for some seconds. 

2.Get a large bowl and put the beef and pork into it, along with the veggies, oregano, almond flour, pepper, and salt. Mix properly and mold the mixture into about 20 meat- balls. 

3.Place the meatballs in the Instant Pot and set on Manual, then cook for 10 minutes on high pressure. 

4.Naturally release the pressure for 15 minutes, then quick release the pressure. 

5.Put all the sauce ingredients with the cucumber inside the food processor and pulse until it is smooth. Pour it out into a jar and keep in the fridge until you need it. 

6.Serve.
